| Gosh, it's really been two months! Probably the longest two months of my life...! No more studying! No more deferred tax liability, DDM model, and sharp ratio! No more studying wherever and whenever. No more studying when all of your friends are partying on a Saturday night! At last, the intensive CFA Level I test finally came to an end. It's weird, it feels like everything kind of came to an end.
I hope I made the right decision taking this test. Thinking back, it was impulsive. I just felt I had the time, and wanted to be a step ahead ..and since I'm in Finance, it seemed the logical thing to do. I never thought about how applicable or useful the information is, and most definetely underestimated the time/effort needed to be spent on this exam prep, and didn't even think about how much harm it could do to relationships.
But the truth is what's done is done, and I don't want to regret. Even if I don't pass, I will still be proud of myself making this far. And if relationships don't last a few months of exam cramming, they probably don't mean to last anyway.
What's weird is that I have so much free time now...and at first it was weird, because I felt like I lost purpose for a moment. I almost forgot about those days when I come home, eat dinner and just sit on my lazy ass...watch some junk TV on VH1 about how rich celebrities are..
But I'm picking up..and actually kind of enjoy having some alone time, just be by myself, even not really doing anything. It's just so chill...and plus, it's sooo good to be back in the friends circle..to be able to hang out, get dinner after work..to shop..to go out. Gosh, I didn't realize how much I was missing out! | Anyone saw me on King 5 news last night?!! 
So yesterday morning me and two other FLPs went to study at Top Pot donuts in Belltown. We had a little trouble meeting up, or I guess I should say I had a little trouble meeting up with them..because I was confused about the time. So Jeff reminded me the night before that it was day light saving time..and we're moving one hour "backward"...So I woke up in the morning, thinking I have one extra hour..and just took my time. One of the girls I was meeting up called, and I found out from her that we were moving time forward, and not backward. Feeling a little stupid and being almost 2 hours late to studying, I finally got to Top Pot donut. So as we were lining up and discussing the mess-up w/ this day light saving thing, a reporter came over and interviewed us. Not thinking that this would actually be aired on TV, I honestly told her about my confusion, and how I was 2 hour late to the study session.
So this morning...a co-worker told me that I was on the news, talking about how I thought we were moving backward 1 hour instead of forward..OMG! I can't believe they actually aired that footage! Now I feel extra dumb!! And Jeff! I wanna kill you! You were the source of my false information!!My co-worker said the title of the story was to capture people who got confused with the day light saving! AHHHHH! So embarrassing...! Also I was in my worst outfit ever...because Sundays are usually my scrubby studying day. In a way, I'm glad I didn't watch the news last night. I would have felt like the biggest retard in the world!

| If you've read my last entry, you know why I haven't xanged almost a month. 
Gosh,blocking xanga at work can be a good and bad thing. The good thing is that I don't get distracted, the bad thing is..I get really really BORED! hehehe..
So I really haven't been doing much..clubbing for endless birthdays or people in town..trying to really pick up studying because I'm a little screwed..and working..nothing new, really.
Today was the slowest, boringest Friday there can be, seriously. The only fun thing was I corrupted everyone in my group into playing Tontie! haha..all of a sudden you hear shooting gun, eating coin..all of the good old video game sound. You also hear people yelling: shoot! i have no heart, or what do i do now? or, I hate these swinging guys...
Everyone was having a blast, and the whole time I crossed my fingers, wishing my manager wouldn't walk by our row. Gosh, I can't believe sometiems I feel like working is actually a waste of my time.

| Sad news!! Washington Mutual officially blocked Xanga!!  That sucks! After blocking Friendster, my space..now they finally caught on Xanga. Maybe it was me who xangaed too much when i was bored at work...
So after two weeks..the "special guest" who visited us was Mr. Derek! He got 7 second interviews in Seattle...so proud of him! Hopefully he can spend this summer back in town and we'll party like he had never left!!
Me and Jeff celebrated V day today early since he has class till 930pm on Tuesday. We went to this little French crepe/cafe place by Space needle and it was really good! We ordered these coffee drinks that had flavored syrup at the bottom, a layer of espresso shot, and top with layer of cold cream. It was interesting..but pretty good...then we went to watch Big mama's house 2...really funny!! Maybe not as much as the first one, but still quite entertaining. I love all the undercover comedy...Mrs. Doubtfire...Big mama's house...white chicks...they are my kinda humor!!  For dinner, we went to the unlimited crab feed at Anthony's. I ate two king crabs and was stuffed..but Hungry man Jeff ate 5 and wasn't even full. We were in the resturant for freaking 2.5 hours!
Can't belive it's Sunday night again. Grrrrrrr.......................another long long week...

| Happy Chinese New Year!!!
Weekend was fun..too much food indeed. Friday night we went to Venom..and the security guards were being total jerks and weren't letting people in..and to make it worse..it was raining like crazy!
So we had to wait out there for almost an freaking hour...! Soaking wet..and from Roger and people who were inside..the club wasn't even packed!  After we got in, it was all good though..until I found out that I lost my clip of 20 bucks, drivers license, and credit card! Yea that's just typical. Magically Jeff found it from talking to one of the bartenders...thank god..
Saturday we stuffed ourselves with hot pot at Jeff's..and then Texas Hodem after dinner. So it was Melody beating the rest of 7 guys and became the final winner of the game!  ..and won 40 bucks!! hehe..must be an embarrassing moment for all the guys who played me.
Sunday I treated Jeff's family to brunch at Salty's (Alki Beach)...I figured it was time to give back..especially I just got my bonus. God we were soooooooo stuffed! It was good though! So much food...great desserts.
Afterwards I went to pottery and met up with Karv..that concluded the weekend. So I'm not even close to my study schedule for the CFA. Friends, please! Study with me !  | | |
